Last I heard led me here to compose this article. And I struggle to admit this but I miss the old Drake.
You know, before he got his hair braided like Queen Latifah, in Set It Off.
We get to know artists from the music they make. When Drake told Kendrick, “You’re always trying to free the slaves,” he was as good as buried to me.
Drake, before his Queen Latifah braids from Set It Off, was the all-around kinda fella. He was the goofy kid everyone joshed around with until he grew up and started expressing himself in ways that turned people off. I suppose we’ve all had awkward moments in certain company, and perhaps even pretended to be someone else to get through that moment. Trust me, you’re pretty exhausted once your head hits the pillow.
It takes courage to be yourself in a room full of people who pretend they’re someone else. Don’t get me wrong, some people need to be someone else, know what I mean? I just wonder how long Drake wished he was from the mean streets while in private school eating bon bons.
Before Drake got his braids like Queen Latifah from Set It Off, I told people, “Yeah, I like me some Drake,” you know, because I’m sort of a nerd myself, like I figured Drake was among a room full of hardcore Rappers. He and I could’ve high-fived each other in that same room, before he got his braids like Queen Latifah from Set It Off. But it’s cool. Always good to know where you stand with people.
We can’t wear the matching polo shirts and plaid shorts on account of him cussing folks out with a beat playing in his ear and wearing his hair like Queen Latifah from Set It Off.
Drake needs someone to save him from himself.

I don’t know that he has that. Many celebrities don’t and we see them tumble something awful.

They’re human beings. They’re going to tumble just like any of us who do not have the tools we need to not falter. He’s gotta get back to his core. I doubt that’s going to happen without him realizing it.
*Shakes head* I really used to like that cat, but I’m not surprised by his 180.

May be that his core built him up that way, in the things that he said. His music is one thing but apparently, he’s been moving a certain way for some time. There’s always been confusion at his core.

This is true, too! Whatever it is, he’s straight garbage now.

Yep. He’s definitely the booga on the napkin.
