Drawing an End to New Beginnings

I’ll miss From the Musical Sketchbook once I’ve finished all of the pages. I’ve sketched out the last musicians that’ll be in the book and it’s about to get stank over here! You hear me? Who in the world would prompt such a thing from lil ole innocent me? Suddenly, I feel faint and the need for a pillow that hasn’t flattened like a pancake!

Actually, I have more celebrity drawings in the book that I haven’t told stories about. I’ll move through a number of current ones that’s on and poppin’ but my next book series will be artists like myself. I’ve got tons of art history books I’ve studied up on but don’t go to yawning on me, folks. I guarantee there are some wild childs in the group that’ll make you scratch your head and sit down to take a drink! You’re probably drinking now. Anyhow! We’re gonna do a deep dive and swim back up again. Okay?

Going into the new year, and I pray we all make it there together, I’ll present you my new animated film series, Piece of the Ole American Pie. It’s high time the idea comes to fruition, as it’s a year old storyline that I’ve worked out to a degree. So, I’m happy about me making my mind up about that ’cause whew! You don’t even wanna know all of what’s knocking around up there! Okay?!

Anyhow!

The sketchbook keeps my head in a book wherever I am and opportunity to experiment. Everything outside of it is my body of work and if you’re in North Charleston, South Carolina that is, you can catch me in an exhibition there starting October 26. I won’t be there, as I’m preparing for extended time in Houston but I’ll be there in Spirit. Make sure when you walk into my spot, say hi. If you feel something slap you on the backside, you’ll know it’s me. Heehee!
