The concert tickets are $359+ for nosebleed seats. My friend rang me up wanting to go. I’m like, Get us some tickets and I’ll Zelle you the money back. Two days later, she called back and hit me with that price and location. Girl, I say all whiney, if he would just stream it live on the tele, I can do that! She’s like, Me too!

I reckon that’s another concert I’ll miss. These are the woes of a thousandnaire. We always find ways to be accommodated based on our budget. It can be dang right uncomfortable not getting what you want all the time. And when you watch them on the tele doing whatever they do, you get to thinking, What the hell am I doing?I can do that, if not better! She gets paid to beΒ on the red carpet naked. I can do…

Anyhow!

And just how much am I willing to pay for streaming?

First off, you’re looking at someone who’s anti-subscription. I’m already subscribing to mortgage, gas, electric, water,  internet and HP ink. I recently subscribed to a history channel on Patreon on account of them disappearing from YouTube. I missed the banter, debates and knowledge dispensed on the show.

All that being said, I’d put on my pjs and spend upward of $30 for live streaming.

Suffice it to say, this thousandnaire status is wildly inconvenient. These are the ones winning $50 scratch-offs, screaming Won’t He do it!

Apparently?

  1. Fuck that. $359 for nosebleeds but at the same time thanks to artists no.longer selling physical media the bane of their monetary existence is through live shows. Still I got limits, because that $359 plus fees would end up probably being $500. No thanks. I’d rather spend less than $190 for 3 tickets in decent seats to see Brad Sherwood & Colin Mochrarie (of Whose line is it anyway?) doing a live improv show than ever pay $359 for a shit seat fir any artist.

    • Well, I’m streaming. I like being able to focus on something else at the same time. I recall reading about the reason ticket sales were skyrocketing. I believe the company is LiveNation that has a monopoly on ticket sales in entertainment. With all of them having way more money than me and 3 coworkers put together, I’ll definitely pass. I’ve read comments in the past about people opting to sacrifice by forgoing necessities to see BeyoncΓ©. What makes sense to them doesn’t for me. Godspeed to the unconscious mind.
