I’ve been out and about a LOT and it’s got me feeling burned out. While it’s been productive and art-related mainly, I’ve felt a strong need for a nap and I’m not a napper. Out of 365 days, I may squeeze in 30 days wortha naps.

When I’m busy like that, I don’t remember to eat or the busyness takes away any thoughts of food. It’s a funky situation really, cause when I’m working, be it on the people’s job or in the studio, you can also find a coupla meals going in my mouth. One is fine, really.

Anyhow!

As I was driving my work to a show I was juried into today, the drive had me chiming Over the river and through the woods… It was just over an hour one way. When I tell you Waze was doing too much, it was doing too much. Okay? There must’ve been a simpler way but…but…but…I was a hostage.

And let me tell you, I NEED a GPS as much as a baby needs milk. Thing of it is, I get very distrustful of the damn thing. I get all worked up and wanna cry. Seriously. Laugh if you want cause now that it’s over, I sure am. You might say, Oh ye of little faith but there’s a backstory to every story.

One time, in Tennessee and heading back to the hotel from the Family Feud audition, the GPS led us straight to some weeds and we couldn’t smoke any of’em. You hear me? We were just out there following this voice with a British accent.

Another time, some time way back, I was reading where the new iPhone was directing folk to the ocean. I’m not making this up, folks. I know somebody besides me remember this.

Well now…

My mind is settled somewhat. I watch a lot of history and read up on these sorta topics a great bit, so I’m probably always worked up to some extent. And then, I’m an artist but that’s enough storytelling for one day.
